Kerstyn hails from Berrin Springs, MI which is located near the shores of Lake Michigan in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan.  Kerstyn has ties to the UP via her mother and stepfather and Kerstyn could not wait to visit on her school breaks as she fell in love with the area due to its peace and tranquility.  
She has been happily married for seven years to her husband, Brad.  They are the proud parents of two extremely vivacious children.  She and Brad previously lived in North Dakota where her husband worked in the oil fields for six years, but the pull of a more wholesome life in the country brought them to Iron River. 
In her spare time, Kerstyn enjoys reading, puzzles, crafting and of course, hiking in the beautiful woods in Iron County and surrounding areas.
